Here is your chance to own one or more strings of Upper Missouri trade beads. These strands have up to 40 different types of beads as known to have existed during the French fur trade, Lewis and Clark era, the American fur trade, and the active years at Fort Union on the Upper Missouri river. These bead types can still be found at period Native American Indian camp sites and trader's fort sites from the Missouri headwaters to the Ohio River and into the Rocky Mountains. These beads have been legally obtained from other sources, but they are the very same as the currency of the fur trade era. The strands are 26"-28" long, each one different. Ready to wear and enjoy. Specify if a shorter strand is needed. Comes with silver handmade clasp. Plain strand (no trade ring): $60.00 incl. S/H. Strand with brass or copper trade ring: $68.00 incl. S/H by regular mail. Other shipment method prices depend on delivery time and location. |
